505 Games is publishing the critical success Horace for Nintendo Switch, available to players from the Nintendo eShop in most regions for £10.99.
Meticulously crafted by two-person development team Paul Helman and Sean Scaplehorn, Horace is a unique and heart-warming gaming experience littered with 15+ hours of thrilling and challenging platforming, puzzle solving, and a host of mini games unfolding as a cinematic adventure for the ages. Metroidvania-inspired abilities are unlocked as players progress through challenging platforming areas while puzzles and difficult bosses invite players to further put their skills to test.
“I am incredibly proud to bring Horace to the Nintendo Switch,” said Paul Helman, ‘lead’ developer of the ‘team’ of two behind Horace. “The game is essentially The sum total of my life’s work and my 25+ years in the games industry. With such a small ‘team’, a ridiculous amount of effort was put into creating Horace. Along with Sean Scaplehorn coding everything, I created all of the huge amount of art, music, wrote the story and designed all the gameplay by myself, so it’s great for our hard work pay off and finally see Horace on console.”
