Its been around 5 years now since we started this venture, maybe a little longer. Invision started as a guild in World of Warcraft back in 2010 – 2011, it had a forum and a lot of activity from its guild members. It slowly came to light, that a website could also be created to get free products to review and keep, so a front page was created and Invision Game Community was launched. It was mostly just guildmates and friends running the show back then with just Paradox, Blizzard and Team 17 in support of us.
There was little to no news, a site design that was shockingly bad, a structure that was unstructured, did not even have a USP. After heading to University it became clear, students, they mostly leave university, schools, and colleges with no experience attached to their CV, and a high number of them were gamers as well. So why not make Invision Game Community a website dedicated to helping students get experience and learn to write to the best of their ability.
We slowly brought in teachers that when called upon can look over work and guide them on how to improve, some students, are not always gracious when it comes to criticism though, and end up leaving and slamming the door behind them. But the ones that stay, commit, have their eyes opened to the possibility of working in the gaming industry, they focus themselves on a goal and go for it, a good example of this is Nathan Mills, he grew his own YouTube Channel with his friend Craig Edwards, then he became a PR Executive for a leading AAA company.
But it is not been all great for us, we have had our fair share of staff that has backstabbed us, from hate campaigns on social media because we cannot pay staff, to slander and defamation which still happens even now. Some staff have gone off to do what we do and have failed miserably, learning that it is not as easy as creating a site, you need a lot more time and commitment to the venture. You also have staff that has succeeded in creating a brand for themselves and are doing rather well.
Now in 2018, our site manager lost his baby girl (only 8 weeks old) and has had his finger on the delete Invision site button for some time, his mind has not been with it. He has been focused on figures, growing social media, growing the site, he had lost his way, he never created Invision to be a huge venture, a successful site, he created it to help.
Now we already know our USP, and we know what our site is dedicated to, it has grown into an entertainment site, focused around Games, eSports, Peripheral, Hardware, Mobile, Movies and TV News. We also review and preview products from AAA to Indie game studios, not to mention hardware and gaming peripherals as well. So if we started promoting Streamers, it would be something totally out of the blue, something we have not dedicated to and totally out of our USP. So why have we been in talks with streamers?
It is the same reason, we started Invision, to help, Streaming is no easy task, you require time away from loved ones, money to buy all those latest games and then you have those niggling issues that eat away at you, like, can I get those viewers in? Will they like me? Or can I even play this game well enough? The worse one is, can I handle those bad comments. Well, this is where our announcement comes in today Invision Game Community proudly announces that we are partnering up PAAStreaming also known as Passively Aggressive Assassins. A bunch of like-minded highly trained assassins that stream there gaming content over Mixer.
PAAStreaming was formed by ‘Mavadosey’ and her partner ‘SlipperyPuddin’ to bring together friends and streamers under one banner, people that enjoy gaming, like to express themselves, learn to communicate with others, gain confidence in what they are doing and to step out into a brand new world with no fear. At PAAStreaming it does not matter if you are not good, or your voice sounds weird or you are just strange in general, everyone is welcome to come and watch and if you are lucky, join the team.
So let me introduce you to the Immortal Vampire Robot also known as ‘Mavadosey’, want to know more? Here we go;

Why are we partnering up, how can we integrate streaming into our community? we have always wanted to get gameplay content of the games we review but simply do not have the staff or the time to do this, but we know streamers do, they love heading online, streaming their game time, it’s there pride and joy, regardless of their viewer base they just do it. And being gamers they love the latest games to dig into, and getting the latest games for free is even better.
As with every partnership, everything works both ways, the streamers get the games to stream and gain more viewers, in turn, grow their audience, which in turn makes them smile inside. Quote ‘A lot of us stream because we want to and love it, it is not about making money, it’s about entertaining, even if it is just one viewer’. So what do we get out of the arrangement? we get to showcase gameplay footage on our site and other media feeds that we use, it will never be the full game, just the first few hours or levels, but if a streamer wants us to showcase everything then we will. Having streamers partnering with us, gives publishers and developers all new ways of getting there games covered, as you know, Video content is becoming to new norm and websites are taking a back foot.
So why don’t the streamers just poach companies themselves? Well not all streamers have the viewers, the subscribers, or the content a publisher is looking for when it comes to sending their games to them, which in turn makes it rather hard for streamers to just ask for games. Invision Game Community already has the requirements and many years of hard work to gain relationships with many studios, thanks to this we have the opportunity to build that relationship between us, the publishers, developers and PAAStreaming for years to come. It is not going to be a Dorothy of Oz sort of deal, where she clicks her heals and we get the viewers. This something new and not seen by our viewers, it is going to take time, commitment and in all honesty passion.
We are literally promoting the games that they play, the hours of gameplay; we are making publishers aware of our partnership and who has created what. All content created by a streamer will be credited and linked to their own live feeds, so viewers can be entertained by them if they enjoyed what they have seen.
We are very much looking forward to working with PAAStreaming. After speaking with Mavadosey, we are confident and a truly happy to be working with her, her partner and all the streamers and we hope that we can help them grow there streamer base, viewer base and the number of games they stream. We also hope that this makes many of our game publishers we work with extremely happy that we are now creating unique gameplay footage of their games. – Invision
We are the Passively Aggressive Assassins. This group was started by people who wanted to spread a message, that wanted to be something more. A diverse group of friends who enjoy to play and stream games. People have come and gone but the community has never been stronger. Slowly spreading across the world our message of positivity, and being able to do something creative with the struggles that day to day life can bring. Every day can be a struggle for the few, and we want to help them realize their full potential, or at least give them a place to get away from it all for a while. In the recent years we have been able to grow as a community, and have been given chances to show everyone what we are really made of. We are just as excited about this new partnership and hoping to soar to new heights. – PAAStreamers
