Indie Dev sePTemsoft UG launches Kickstarter for upcoming tycoon simulation game
sePTemsoft UG, a German indie game developer, today announced the Kickstarter campaign of the upcoming tycoon simulation game ManageManiac. A mix of simulation and tycoon gameplay awaits players in this every man’s workday fantasy. Players can back now to save 5€ on a digital copy: http://bit.ly/ManageManiac
ManageManiac puts players in the role of a corporate boss. Players in the simulation title don’t direct the boss, they are the boss. Make the decisions, the hard choices for you and your company. Do you believe that everyone works better happy or that employees require a stiff hand to be productive? That’s entirely up to you in this economic simulation with a dark sense of humor.
The game features:
- Balance your budget between new employees, profit and capital expenses for the future
- Keep an eye on productivity in real time thanks to conveniently placed cameras
- Debate between 70 corporate perks to offer employees, from health insurance to time off
- Juggle over a million possible employee combinations
- Analyze productivity, measure performance indicators and manage the troops
In ManageManiac you’re the boss. You control the destiny of employees, your company and your own. Right now, players control the destiny of ManageManiac. Funding the simulation title will ensure programming meets expectations, developers and artists have tools and music, sound and voices are fully available.
Philipp Teucher, CEO and Game Designer of sePTemsoft UG (haftungsbeschränkt), says: “We’ve all heard the stereotypes about managers and CEOs. They’re out of touch, don’t know what they’re doing or are power hungry. People complaining about their bosses is as common as useless meetings and pointless emails.” Mark Geilhausen, 3D-Artist adds, “We’ve all sat in a bar listening to the exaggerated work stories of good friends. That was the epiphany. Let’s turn simulation games around. What if we made a game where players can be the sort of boss they’ve always feared…or wanted to be?!
ManageManiac is 10€ when backing early on Kickstarer, but only 500 Kickstarter copies are available.
Launch day ManageManiac will cost 15€.
