It’s October, the time for Halloween or should it be called ‘All Hallows Eve’ a time for tricks or treats, pumpkins and costumes, jack o lanterns and bonfires, horror films and haunting attractions, there are loads of fun things to do.
Get your friends together, grab yourself some Halloween festive merchandise like a ‘Fog machine’ from ‘1byone’ currently priced at $26.99, which adds depth to the haunting aspect of the night, then grab yourself a party lamp like this one also from ‘1byone’ ‘ The Crystal LED Stage Light’ currently priced at $32.99, which is also sound activated.
So you have the lights for the party and the fog for atmosphere, you also need decorations for your windows, doors, ceilings and walls and there are plenty available online. We did a spooky bathroom, where we covered the room full of fake webbing, added and few spiders and bats, filled bottles with ooze and placed fake candles around the room.
Downstairs we used loads more webbing and spiders, dropped huge bats from the ceiling, used an FX program and projector to give the outside world, a fright when viewing our window, with a ghost that would watch you walk past with a freight to boot.
We found most of our Halloween decorations on Amazon just search Halloween and there is loads and loads available
For food we created many ideas from the BBC Halloween menu, and created a cocktail with many disgusting looking delights.
When it became midnight, the movie that we enjoy watching first is the awesome, ‘Event Horizon’ followed by the classic Halloween. Partners hugging up with the girls or boys scared of horror movies, with COCO and popcorn.
A wonderful night we would have, being dressed up, full of good food and treats, scaring the trick or treaters that dare to knock our door, Halloween, a day to dress up as a Zombie, may be a witch, the unnatural, mythical creatures and thing other than pretty.
So why don’t you have a Halloween Party, and scare your tricksters and have a deathy night.
