All right, so Paradox Interactive isn’t the scariest company on the planet. We DO have a really exciting release schedule for you, though, full of all the games we’ve just published, and a few that are hauntingly close. It’s so full of games, that it’s SCARY! All right, so Paradox Interactive isn’t the scariest company on the planet. We DO have a really exciting release schedule for you,
Europa Universalis IV (Windows/Mac/Linux)
Critical acclaim showered upon it, multiple awards won, and countless friendships destroyed: Europa Universalis IV is clearly one of the best strategy games of the year. Developed by Paradox Development Studio, the praise has been rolling in since our grandest strategy yet was unleashed in August, and we’re just getting started. Keep an eye on Europa Universalis IV, because we’ve got a new announcement coming next week!
Until then, of course, you can continue to enjoy the best empire-building game in history. Check out Europa Universalis IV here: www.europauniversalis4.com
Crusader Kings II: Sons of Abraham (Windows/Mac/Linux)
If you’re going to be a crusader, it seems like you ought to be pretty devoted to your faith, doesn’t it? We’ve just announced the newest DLC expansion for fan-favorite dynasty, diplomacy, and dastardly dishonesty strategy RPG game, Crusader Kings II, titled “Sons of Abraham.” New content brings Christianity, Judaism, and Islam to the forefront, with papal elections and religious favors – and fervors! – winding their way into your already twisted plots and strategems.
Sons of Abraham, developed by Paradox Development Studio, is scheduled to launch November 18, and you can read more here: http://www.paradoxplaza.com/games/crusader-kings-ii-sons-of-abraham
War of the Vikings – Now in Early Access (Windows)
Paradox has joined the Steam Hurly Axes—we mean, Early Access program! Our upcoming close-quarters combat game, War of the Vikings, has opened an Early Access alpha, and players are already getting their first taste of Saxon blood. Feedback has been great so far, and we’ve already begun updating the game with awesome (and fearsome!) new weapons, character loadouts, and more. We just issued The Huntsman update, adding in hunting bows and the mighty Dane Axe, and tomorrow we’ll be releasing an eerie, foreboding Sanctuary map that will only be playable on Halloween! In Sanctuary, there is nowhere to hide, which is the opposite of sanctuary when you think about it, but it sure does make for a great map.
We’ve got another major content update right around the corner, be on the lookout!

Magicka: Wizard Wars – Now in Early Access (Windows)
Look, wizarding isn’t easy. The first hundred or so times that you try to pull a rabbit out of a hat, you wind up electrocuting yourself, setting the rabbit on fire, and encasing the hat in a massive stone and hurling it into a pit somehow. If you’re going to go to war, you’re going to need some practice, which is why we’ve put Magicka: Wizard Wars on Steam’s Early Access program! Folks can jump in right now and try out this all-new PvP spin on Magicka’s unique gameplay, and get their skills up to snuff. That way, when the game is released, those team kills will only be accidental, like, 60% of the time. Maybe.

Warlock II: The Exiled
Ah, spring, when a Grand Mage’s fancy turns to thoughts of brutal vengeance by way of enormous fireballs and well-dressed werewolves! We recently announced the upcoming sequel to turn-based-fantasy-wargame Warlock: Master of the Arcane, and it’s slated to be here in Spring 2014, just in time for the flowers to be in full bloom so they can be harvested and ground up into magical reagents. Warlock II: The Exiled is the feel-good game about building vast fantastical armies to conquer cities while researching terrible spells to crush all opposition.
