The annual game developers conference is moving to the city featured on Game of Thrones on April 28-30
Reboot Develop is raising the bar of games conferences for the third time and is set to deliver the best speaker lineup of 2016 in Europe in Split, Croatia on April 28 – 30 with Tim Schafer as a keynote speaker.
Since the conference is never held at the same place twice, this year Reboot Develop 2016 is moving to Split, one of the oldest city on the Adriatic coast, which also served as a scenery for the HBO TV series The Game of Thrones.
The three day event will host 70 industry luminaries, influential figures and decision makers like Tim Schafer, Cliff Bleszinski, Rhianna Pratchett, Bo Andersson, Koh Kim, Brenda and John Romero, Kate Edwards, Brian Fargo, Chris Avellone, Dan Vavra, Patrice Desilets, Jakub Dvorsky, Marek Rosa, Rami Ismail, Charles Cecil, Mike Bithell, Noirin Carmody, Hendrik Lesser, Phil Elliott and also speakers representing the growing Adriatic region with more than 300 active studios in the luxurious resort Le Meridien Lav.
The organisers are again providing free exhibition space for indies that are registered and will be attending the conference. The slots will be available on the first come first served basis. With a bigger B2B area, the first indie soccer tournament, an exhibition area catering to 50 studios and Indie Awards with prize money, Reboot Develop is putting indie developers into the spotlight.
