Indie developers invited to submit their projects before 1st August
EGX is delighted to announce that submissions are now being accepted for EGX 2016’s Leftfield Collection.
The Leftfield Collection, sponsored by SEGA, enables indie developers to exhibit their pre-release games, free of charge, to tens of thousands of attendees at the UK’s biggest games event. Games selected in previous years demonstrate the creativity and diversity of the indie games scene and have often defied genre classification. Many have gone on to enjoy both critical and commercial success such as Joe Danger, Don’t Starve and Proteus.
Exhibiting as part of the Leftfield Collection is free, however, places are limited and the selection process is once again expected to be extremely competitive. Indie developers who wish to submit their games for inclusion in the collection are asked to complete the following entry form which also contains full details on the submissions process – tiny.cc/leftfield2016
The closing date for submissions is the 1st August and the selected games are expected to be revealed later that month. Any questions regarding the Leftfield Collection should be directed to David Hayward, the collection’s curator – firstname.lastname@example.org Submissions must be made via the entry form, please do not submit your projects by email.
Indie developers who are interested in booking exhibition space in the Rezzed Zone at EGX should contact Matt Styles, Commercial Manager for a price list – email@example.com
EGX 2016 takes place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on the 22nd-25th September. Tickets are available now via the event’s website – egx.net/egx/tickets
