Ever wanted to jump inside your TV and see what The Simpsons’ home looks like in 3D? An artist has created a 3D version of The Simpsons in stunning visual realism with realistic lighting, so fans can experience what it is like in the hit TV show.
The photography was created and rendered by Steven Christopher, a Lead/Environment 3D artist and 3D Generalist in Blender and Unreal Engine using a NVIDIA Studio laptop powered by a GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, to deliver a truly life-like ray traced lighting scene from The Simpsons.

Both Blender and Unreal Engine benefit with ray tracing implementations supported by NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX GPUs, which allows creators to simulate the physical behaviour of light to bring an authentic and realistic cinematic-quality to scenes.
A spokesperson for NVIDIA, said:
“NVIDIA’s Studio platform makes creative applications and tools such as AI Denoiser accessible to all, enabling creators to supercharge their creative processes and take advantage of key technologies such as ray tracing and DLSS.
Steven’s project really brings to life the benefit of the RTX 3070 powered Studio laptop, which made light work of Blender, Painter and Unreal Engine. By speeding up the workflow the Studio platform is ultimately able to free up valuable time for Steven.”
