Star Trek Timelines from publisher Tilting Point and developer Wicked Realm Games, is celebrating Pride Month with a new themed campaign, Kol-Ut-Shan. Vulcan for βinfinite diversity in infinite combinations,β the Kol-Ut-Shan campaign – now live through July 9 – gives mobile players access to two prominent LGBTQ+ Star Trek characters, Paul Stamets and Lenara Kahn. In addition, and for a limited time only (now through June 30), Star Trek Timelines will also be offering all players 5 Star Crew Member Jett Reno, an LGBTQ+ 23rd century female Human Federation Starfleet officer who first made her appearance in Star Trek: Discovery.
The Star Trek universe has always been inclusive, and the introduction of scientist and engineer Paul Stamets in Star Trek: Discovery as the first openly gay regular character showcased the seriesβ long-standing history of advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. The other featured character, scientist Lenara Kahn — first introduced in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine — is a member of the Trill humanoid species whose on-screen relationship with another female Trill helped tackle the taboo against homosexuality within the space-faring race.
Weβd love for you to consider Star Trek Timelinesβ Kol-Ut-Shan campaign for any Pride Month articles or roundups that you might be working on.
