Survivor Legacy is the tense zombie-themed strategy game from R2Games that combines strategic warfare with the ravenous undead. Set in the near future, Survivor Legacy plots the heroic survivors against the walking dead in rounds of strategic and gripping combat.
Survivor Legacy is not your typical survival zombie game, instead it is gigantic battles and skirmishes between the living and dead. Meanwhile a compelling story of crashed landings and post-apocalyptic wastelands keeps players coming back for more. A colourful cast of charismatic characters such as pro-wrestler The Bulldog and the ironically named guitar-wielding The Silence are to thank for giving this browser game real flare.
The city building aspect of the game is especially compelling. Players are able to strengthen their defenses, bolster their team, and recruit the units required to ensure that the undead hordes do not claim the planet. Furthermore, the post-apocalyptic aesthetic has been executed to give a fresh take while staying true to cult apocalypse-based stories like Mad Max or Fallout.
The Survivor Legacyβs July Patch
Hero Classes
Crucial to playersβ survival in Survivor Legacy is the use of Heroes which are used to give players an edge over their foes when they need it most. Survivor Legacy has just added two new high-tier Hero Classes: S+ and EX. These new hero classes are really for the best of the best, and as such some of the existing deserving S-class heroes have been switched to the new hero classes.
Building Glory Levels
The second major feature update in Survivor Legacyβs July patch is the introduction of building Glory Levels. Each building in Survivor Legacy plays a uniquely crucial role; buildings could already be upgraded to Level 25, and now Glory Levels grant an additional 10 levels on top. This extra upgrade potential can be the difference between life or death and glory or defeat.
Below we have shared some examples of some of the building level ups players can expect:
The Command Center
The Command Center is undeniably the most crucial building in Survivor Legacy. It is your headquarters and base of operations. All other buildings depend on the Command Center, and upgrading it not only unlocks new buildings and features but increases the max level of all other buildings. If you are ever wondering which building to upgrade first, itβs this one!
The Wall
Not far behind the Command Center in terms of importance is your baseβs wall. The most meaningful defense between the last bastion of civilization and the gnashing jaws outside. Upgrading the level of the wall not only gives it more HP but allows you to add more turrets, ensuring that you can slay zombies before they can even get close. Suffice to say, your wall is vital.
Warehouse
As in any post-apocalyptic setting, the undead are not the only danger in the wastelands. A warehouse is crucial for storing and (more importantly) protecting resources during raids. The higher the level, the more that players can store inside them. After all, there is not much point gathering resources if they are all just going to be stolen off you anyway!
Survivor Legacy can be played via the official website or on Facebook.
