OtherSide Entertainment and Megabit Publishing have officially launched Thick as Thieves on Steam now, inviting players into the dark and dangerous streets of the alternate-history Scottish city of Kilcairn.
Available now for just £4.99/$4.99/€4.99, the stealth-action title delivers a unique blend of immersive stealth mechanics, replayable missions, and cooperative gameplay designed for both solo players and teams of thieves looking to pull off the perfect heist.
To celebrate the launch, the developers have also released an official launch trailer showcasing the game’s moody atmosphere, stealth-focused gameplay, and the richly detailed world players will be exploring.
Playable solo or in two-player online co-op, Thick as Thieves focuses on dynamic stealth gameplay where no two heists unfold the same way. Players will take on contracts, discover new gear, uncover hidden stories throughout Kilcairn, and slowly rise through the criminal underworld to become legendary master thieves.
The launch version includes an introductory campaign offering at least four hours of gameplay content. Players can choose between two different thieves, explore two highly replayable maps, complete 16 contracts, and experiment with six unique gear items that can dramatically change how missions play out.
The city of Kilcairn itself appears to be one of the game’s strongest elements, blending mystery, corruption, and hidden secrets into a setting that feels built for stealth fans. According to the developers, today’s launch is only the beginning, with future stories and content expansions planned to further develop the world and its characters.
