Summer Game Fest 2026 continued to fire on all cylinders as the showcase moved into its second wave of reveals, delivering even more major announcements across racing, fighting, horror, RPGs and live-service updates. If Part 1 set the tone with huge franchise sequels and world premieres, Part 2 doubled down with a wider variety of genres and some of the most unexpected reveals of the entire event.
From the return of legendary fighters in Virtua Fighter Crossroads and major expansions for Monster Hunter Wilds, to fresh updates for Palworld, Street Fighter 6 and Dead by Daylight, this section highlights just how much long-term content is planned across the industry. We also saw surprise crossovers, experimental indie titles and major updates for ongoing live-service giants that will keep players busy well into 2027.

Racing Games Bring Speed and Spectacle
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush
Arcade racing fans were treated to the reveal of Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, a high-energy racing experience packed with extreme tracks, loops, jumps and over-the-top stunts. The reveal showcased both city-based circuits and wild environmental courses designed for chaotic multiplayer action.
The game launches on 24 September 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
Clutch
Clutch takes a more narrative-driven approach to racing, blending street racing culture with a story-focused campaign. The trailer highlighted intense races, dramatic rivalries and cinematic presentation.
Clutch is scheduled for release in Spring 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Updates
Sega returned with major updates for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, including crossover content featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem and Avatar Legends. Future updates will introduce additional collaborations, including Godzilla and Evangelion-themed content.
A new indie spin-off, Sonic Pico Park, was also teased during the showcase.
Attack on Titan 3
The Attack on Titan franchise continues with a full adaptation of the manga’s storyline in Attack on Titan 3. Players will be able to engage in fast-paced combat against Titans across multiple iconic locations from the series.
The game launches on 1 July 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.

Fighting Games and Competitive Action
Street Fighter 6 Year Four
Capcom revealed the Year Four roadmap for Street Fighter 6, introducing new fighters including crossover character Tifa from Final Fantasy VII Remake. The update continues to expand the game’s competitive scene with fresh content and balance updates.

Major DLC and Live-Service Updates
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance
Capcom announced a major expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds titled Ascendance. The DLC introduces new monsters, aerial combat mechanics and expanded environmental interactions that affect gameplay in dynamic ways.
Release is scheduled for 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Grounded 2: Into the Abyss
The survival adventure Grounded 2 receives a major update titled Into the Abyss, introducing new creatures, expanded environments and additional survival challenges. The update also coincides with the PlayStation 5 release of the game.

Palworld 1.0
Palworld is finally reaching its full 1.0 release, introducing new Pals, expanded systems and refinements to its survival crafting gameplay loop. The update also brings the game to Mac alongside existing platforms.

Hitman World of Assassination Update
A new Elusive Target mission was revealed for Hitman World of Assassination, introducing a boxing-themed assignment featuring a high-profile celebrity appearance. The mission runs from 5 June to 5 July 2026.
Mafia: The Old Country – Man of Honor
Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor and the teaser trailer really did literally nothing to show what the game was going to be about but hey better than nothing.
Mafia: The Old Country – Man of Honor will be released on 14th August 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Fantasy Highlights
Stellar Blade: Blood Rain
The sequel to Stellar Blade was revealed under the title Blood Rain, showcasing intense combat and a darker tone compared to its predecessor. The game is currently in development.
Indie and Experimental Games
An Eggstreamely Hard Game
This quirky indie title challenges players to protect a fragile egg while navigating obstacle-filled environments. Simple in concept but difficult in execution, it leans into chaotic physics-based gameplay.

1666 Amsterdam
From the creator of Assassin’s Creed comes a unique blend of witchcraft and time travel. Players switch between two protagonists, one of whom is a cat, as they uncover supernatural mysteries in early access later this year.
Sea of Remnants
A free-to-play RPG with turn-based combat, Sea of Remnants offers a stylish aesthetic and cooperative gameplay systems. Pre-registration is currently open ahead of launch on multiple platforms.
