Razer has announced the Razer Reclusa X Mini 65%, the first keyboard in its new Reclusa lineup, aimed at enthusiasts who want a keyboard that is ready to use out of the box while still offering plenty of room for customization.
Built around the philosophy of “Your Board. Your Rules.”, the new Reclusa range is designed to combine the convenience of a complete gaming keyboard with the flexibility traditionally associated with enthusiast mechanical keyboards.
The compact 65% Reclusa X Mini 65% features hot-swappable switches, tuned acoustics, Razer Chroma RGB lighting and a range of gaming-focused features, giving users the ability to personalize the keyboard without having to build one from scratch.
Designed to Sound and Feel Great Out of the Box
The Razer Reclusa X Mini 65% comes equipped with Razer Orange Tactile Mechanical Switches Gen-3. The switches are factory-lubricated and designed to provide a tactile bump while offering quieter actuation.
Razer has also incorporated dual-layer silicone dampening into the keyboard’s internal construction. The company says this is intended to reduce unwanted resonance and hollow noise, resulting in a cleaner and more controlled acoustic profile.
Completing the initial setup are durable doubleshot ABS keycaps featuring a distinctive tri-tone design. The keycaps are designed to keep their legends crisp and resistant to fading over time.
Hot-Swappable Customisation
For enthusiasts who want to change the keyboard’s feel or sound, the Reclusa X Mini 65% features a hot-swappable PCB compatible with most industry-standard 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches.
This means switches can be replaced without soldering or specialist modification equipment, allowing owners to experiment with different switches and typing characteristics as their preferences change.
The keyboard also features south-facing LEDs, which are designed to provide greater compatibility with aftermarket keycaps. Per-key Razer Chroma RGB lighting provides access to 16.8 million colours alongside a range of dynamic lighting effects.
Compact 65% Design Meets Gaming Features
Although the Reclusa X Mini 65% is aimed at keyboard enthusiasts, Razer has retained the gaming-focused features found across its keyboard range.
The keyboard supports Razer Snap Tap, Razer Snap Flex and Dual-Keypress Priority, features designed to give players greater control over their inputs during fast-paced games.
The mechanical switches are paired with a wired 1000 Hz polling rate, while compatibility with Razer Synapse provides software-based control and customization.
With its 65% layout, the Reclusa X Mini 65% removes much of the space occupied by a traditional full-size keyboard while retaining the essential keys needed for everyday use and gaming.
