Crazy Machines VR, the debut VR entry in the 14 year old zany puzzle franchise, releases on October 25th. Publisher Wild River will bring the game developed by FAKT Software digitally to Steam for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality.
A PSVR version will be released at a later date.
The special requirements of VR games were very much the focus during development of Crazy Machines VR and the game has been optimized to deliver the best experience across platforms. Thanks to intuitive controls in a virtual environment, the trademark physics and machine puzzles are experienced from a whole new perspective. For the first time in the history of the franchise, players are able to get a real hands-on feeling when experimenting with elaborate apparatuses and trying to solve intricate brainteasers.
Each of the five chapters comes with its own setting for a total of 40 playable levels with increasing difficulty. A surly robot assists players in their quest to solve all the puzzles by providing clues, while a variety of achievements offer additional challenges.
