Coffee Stain Publishing and Ghost Ship Games have announced the official launch of Deep Rock Galactic’s Update 32: Roughnecks at Work. This marks the game’s first major and completely free update since it started sending shockwaves on Steam and Xbox One & Microsoft Stores back in May.
The update features two brand new mission types, including ‘Escort Duty’ – an action-packed all out combat quest, requiring drunken courage and heavy artillery on the search for the Ommoran Heartstone and ‘On-Site Refining’ – where teams must put engineering caps on to master the new pipeline traversal system and suck up every last drop of Liquid Morkite on the planet.
To celebrate the latest update the Ghost Ship team commissioned fan artist Matthew “Diggy” Baker to bring ‘Doretta’, the new drilldozer capable of penetrating the prized Ommoran Heartstone, to life.
Update 32 also releases the new Deep Rock Galactic Fall Collection, filled with masterful new Beards & Gear plus a ton of technical upgrades and enhancements, milestones and achievements to continue maximising the miner experience. Deep Rock Galactic players are also set for an all new cosmetic DLC pack, aimed at those dwarfs finding the spacesuit a little tight. The paid DLC offers four new sets of armour, paintjobs, and badass tattoos that spell out one thing: ‘I wouldn’t want to mess with THAT dwarf.’
The 1-4 player co-op FPS has seen a global community of over a million space dwarves team up since launching into Early Access. Deep Rock Galactic is already available on Steam and Xbox One & Microsoft Stores for $29.99/€29.99/£24.99.
