Thrustmaster has confirmed it will join forces with the Le Mans Esports Series (LMES), the official esports competition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and Motorsport Network to make LMES more immersive and realistic than ever, with the final at the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans as the highlight.
A major competition using unique Thrustmaster gear
The first season of the Le Mans Esports Series will wrap up on June 14 and 15 with the Super Final. It will take place on the official premises of the famous Sarthe circuit almost at the same time as the legendary endurance race (June 15 and 16). Founded in 1992, Thrustmaster brings its know-how and technological expertise to the video game accessories market. For more than twenty five years, Thrustmaster has developed solutions to satisfy and entertain every type of gamer, by creating products for highly precise gaming experiences – such as racing wheels and joysticks – along with other accessories for gaming PC & consoles.
Thrustmaster will help provide a new level of immersion and connect the real and the virtual for attendees at the WEC Season Finale. A T3PA-PRO pedal set combined with a TS-XW base and a TM Open Wheel will be a unique set-up at Le Mans, something which is not commercially available.
A multi-channel support system
The partnership between Thrustmaster and LMES will include the use of special gear but will also go even further: finalists will get support as they prepare for the event and fans will enjoy special content across social media. Thrustmaster’s Agnès Cornière explains: “We’re glad to be partnering with this motor racing icon. We’re brought together around this joint project through our shared vision for the future.” : Stephen Hood from Le Mans Esports Series says: “Partnering with Thrustmaster is a guarantee of excellence and reliability, words that are reflected in our project, whose aim is to see this competition grow in strength and develop over the long term.”
