Sandberg 3in1 USB 3.0 Hub Bungee Stand Review

The last Mouse Bungie stand I reviewed was the Xtrfy B1, and that was way back in 2016, if you are interested you can read my review here (Warning it is my early work so it is not all that great). Four years later I get to review the Sandberg 3in1 USB 3.0 Hub Bungie Stand, which can also be used to rest your gaming headset upon.

Sandberg DO NOT sell their products within retail stores you can only purchase their products online, which is a shame because they do offer some great products. So let us pretend that Sandberg does sell their products in retail stores, how would Sandberg showcase this 3in1 USB 3.0 Hub Bungie Stand?

On the front Sandberg note that this 3in1 USB 3.0 Hub Bungie Stand and is part of their eSports equipment range with a 5-year warranty.

Three are three key selling points they wish for you to know

Then right at the bottom, they tell you about the RGB lighting which includes 9 modes all actioned by a touch button. You can see this in operation by watching the video below

You get one effect that cycles through all colours and 8 static modes.

There is one more final selling point from Sandberg, which makes you aware that the product is double quality tested, which means everything is double-checked by more than one person to make sure you get a perfect product.

There is nothing to talk about on the sides but on the back in very small writing, which needs a magnifier to see we have the following statement;

This is the ultimate lifesaver for you as a gamer. In one cool looking device, you get a smart holder for your headset, a bungle to avoid cable tangling, and finally, a built-in USB 3.0 hub to easily connect your equipment at full speed. Features LED light in nice different colours which are controlled easily on a touch button on the front. 

So that is how they try and sell the product to you, have they hit all the right spots for you?

If they have, you might be wondering if they have packaged your new product away safely, I am happy to report they have, so there is no need to worry about those delivery drivers throwing around your new device in the back of there van.

The actual product

My first thought when I opened the box and checked out the Bungie stand was ‘WoW this feels well designed and well built‘ and after some testing of the build quality, my first thoughts were correct. A nice sturdy weighted base, with RBG, LED lights on all four sides and USB connections on both left and right sides of the stand. The Bungie itself offers plenty of flex while your mouse is in use while routing and holding the mouse cord in position.

The elongated stand which holds your headset is the perfect hight for all of my current headsets, which include the following HyperX Cloud Alpha and Flight, SteelSeries Arctis 7, 3 and 1, Sennheiser GSP 370, Razer ManO’War, Kraken, Electra and plenty more from the likes of Plantronics, Edifier, Creative and Sades. So as you can tell this headset stand should have no issues holding your current headset while not in use, and with the RGB lighting going right around the frame it does make everything look rather attractive.

So that is really it for the Bungie / Headset Stand, the ability to hold your headset and route your mouse cable is all great. The RGB lighting gives the stand the bling effect, which as we all know many companies are doing the same. The ability to attach USB devices to the stand offer convenience while also offering more opportunities to attach devices to your PC. Sandberg’s 3in1 USB 3.0 Hub Bungee Stand is very well built, very well thought out and should be the only product a gamer would need to cover 3 peripherals in one, a USB Hub, Headset Stand and a Mouse Bungie.

The only issue I have is the thick rubber cable used to power the device, I would have prefered a braided cable, as that would make the product look more premium.
