PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is getting a K-pop makeover, with KRAFTON announcing a new collaboration with girl group IVE inspired by their hit song “LOVE DIVE”. The crossover will bring themed locations, character likenesses of all six members, outfits, accessories, weapons and music-inspired emotes to the popular battle royale.
The collaboration launches on PC on November 4, followed by consoles on November 12.
IVE Takes Over Rondo
The collaboration will introduce three new areas on the Rondo map, drawing inspiration from scenes and visual elements featured in IVE’s “LOVE DIVE” music video. Rather than keeping the crossover limited to cosmetics, PUBG players will be able to encounter the themed content while exploring the map during matches.
All six IVE members will also receive in-game character likenesses, accompanied by themed outfits, accessories, gear and weapons. Players can further bring the group’s music into the Battlegrounds through new emotes inspired by IVE songs.
It’s another major pop-culture crossover for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, combining the group’s distinctive visual style with the game’s familiar battle royale action.
New Trailer Arrives November 1
KRAFTON has confirmed that all six IVE members will appear in a new collaboration trailer premiering on November 1. The video will revisit the outfits and visual concept associated with the group’s “LOVE DIVE” era, alongside a new musical arrangement combining the original song with music from PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
The collaboration was first teased on October 21, with key art released as part of the announcement. A teaser trailer is also scheduled to premiere at 6 p.m. KST.
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS players will be able to check out the IVE collaboration on PC from November 4, with the console release following on November 12.
