Season 1: Glory Celebrates Legendary Battles
The first season of Year 10, titled Glory, focuses on the history of warfare across Heathmoor while highlighting some of the most legendary warriors and conflicts seen throughout the game’s lifespan.
Following the events of Year 9, Heathmoor exists under an uneasy peace enforced by Guljin and her Khatuns. However, not everyone is willing to accept that fragile stability.
The Knight hero Gryphon rises to challenge the imposed peace, becoming known as The Scorching Herald. Wearing a powerful new armour set inspired by a fiery griffon, he seeks to inspire warriors across Heathmoor by retelling stories of legendary battles and heroic glory.
His return reignites the thirst for battle across the land and threatens to restart the endless cycle of war once again.
The Scorching Herald Legendary Skin
One of the headline additions in Season 1 is the brand-new Scorching Herald Legendary Hero Skin for Gryphon.
This skin introduces several new features designed to make it stand out from previous cosmetics in the game, including:
- A full voiceover rework
- Unique permanent visual effects
- Distinct visual presentation designed to stand out during battle
Players can also purchase the Tales of Gryphon Bundle, which includes:
- The Gryphon Hero
- The Scorching Herald Legendary Skin
- 14-Day Champion Status
- 6 Scavenger Crates
Additionally, Gryphon will be free to try for one week beginning on March 12 through the Hero Trial event.
Arena of Echoes Limited-Time Game Mode
Season 1 also introduces a brand-new limited-time game mode called Arena of Echoes, available until April 2.
This mode features a unique 3v3v3 format where two players are assigned to a powerful boss character and face off against two other teams.
Key gameplay mechanics include:
- Teams earn temporary shields by defeating enemy bosses
- Players can revive teammates but cannot revive fallen bosses
- The first team to win three rounds wins the match
The event also includes a special leaderboard where players can compete for high scores based on event performance.
Ubisoft confirmed that all Year 10 events will feature leaderboard systems similar to this one.
