Ubisoft has revealed a new set of cosmetic outfits for Rayman Legends Retold, with Rayman and Barbara getting a rather French makeover when the platforming adventure launches this December.
The new baguette-themed costumes will be available to everyone from day one, adding a little humour and local flavour to the colourful adventure. The outfits are also a tribute from one French development studio to another, celebrating the creativity behind Montpellier’s video game scene and a fellow game that holds a special place in the team’s heart.
Designed with the same playful spirit that has helped define the Rayman series over the years, the costumes embrace the franchise’s trademark charm and silliness. Ubisoft has even accompanied the reveal with the line, “This isn’t a painting, this is reality!”, giving fans another taste of the humour surrounding the upcoming release.
Players won’t need to unlock the outfits or purchase additional content to use them. Both Rayman and Barbara can sport their new baguette-inspired looks from the moment they begin playing, making the costumes a fun extra for anyone returning to the platforming classic.
Rayman Legends Retold Launches This December
Co-led by Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan, Rayman Legends Retold reimagines the acclaimed platformer with additional content and new narrative twists. The updated adventure promises fast-paced platforming, colourful worlds and plenty of chaotic fun, whether players choose to go it alone or bring friends and family along for the ride.
Local multiplayer remains part of the experience, with support for up to four players in couch co-op. The improved Kung Foot mode also returns, offering another way for players to compete against one another away from the main adventure.
Rayman Legends Retold launches on 3 December 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The baguette outfits will be available to all players at launch.
