Godzilla is bringing a whole lot of destruction to Apex Legends, as EA and Respawn have revealed a major collaboration with Toho’s legendary monster. The Apex Legends | Godzilla event will transform Storm Point into a kaiju battleground, complete with new cosmetics, a special weapon and a rather terrifying presence looming over the map.
The limited-time event begins November 10 across all platforms, giving players the chance to battle their rivals amid the destruction left behind by Godzilla himself.
Godzilla Attacks Storm Point
The main attraction is the Wildcard Takeover, which sees Storm Point caught in the middle of a Godzilla attack. Buildings have been damaged, trees burnt and signs knocked down, with destruction scattered across the map as the giant monster looms overhead.
However, there is more to this takeover than simply admiring the devastation. Players brave enough to enter an area before Godzilla’s Heat Ray strikes can claim a Care Package containing a customised Devotion.
This isn’t your standard Devotion, either. The weapon comes equipped with a devastating heat ray attack that tracks enemies when it hits, giving players a powerful new way to turn the chaos to their advantage.
A Godzilla Dorsal Fin Becomes a Mythic Weapon
The crossover also introduces a new Universal Mythic Melee item called the Dorsal Dagger. Inspired by one of Godzilla’s iconic dorsal fins, this weapon lets players wield a piece of the legendary kaiju, and it comes with a matching Deathbox.
Ten New Godzilla Legend Skins
For fans of the wider Godzilla universe, the event brings ten new Legend skins inspired by monsters and characters from across the franchise.

- Bloodhound: Godzilla 2026
- Valkyrie: Mothra 2003
- Wraith: Godzilla 2016
- Pathfinder: Mechagodzilla 1974
- Mad Maggie: Destoroyah
- Loba: SpaceGodzilla
- Horizon: Godzilla 1995
- Revenant: Super Mechagodzilla 1993
- Catalyst: King Ghidorah 1991
- Octane: Jet Jaguar
It’s a sizeable collection, bringing some familiar faces from the Godzilla franchise into the Apex Legends roster.
New Event Pass Rewards
There will also be a dedicated event pass, featuring both Free and Premium tracks. Players can work through the rewards to unlock Godzilla-themed items, including new badges, crafting metals, trackers and weapon skins.
Between the map takeover, special Devotion, Mythic melee weapon and ten Legend skins, there’s plenty for players to get stuck into when the collaboration arrives.
Apex Legends | Godzilla Event Release Date
The Apex Legends | Godzilla event begins November 10 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through the EA App, Epic Games Store and Steam.
