tinyBuild has officially opened the doors to Hello Neighbor 3, with a brand-new Pre-Alpha build now available on Steam. Developed by Eerie Guest Studios alongside series creator Nikita Kolesnikov, the next chapter in the stealth horror franchise invites players back into the unsettling world of Raven Brooks.
With over 40 million players across the series, Hello Neighbor has built a massive following—and this latest entry looks to evolve the formula while remaining accessible to newcomers.

Welcome Back to Raven Brooks
The Pre-Alpha gives players an early look at Hello Neighbor 3’s core narrative and gameplay systems, all set within the strange and ever-mysterious town of Raven Brooks.
This time, you step into the shoes of a brand-new protagonist—yourself—tasked with investigating the disappearance of a key corporate employee. What begins as a routine mission quickly spirals into something far more disturbing, as the town’s residents make it clear they don’t trust outsiders.
And in Raven Brooks, people going missing is far from unusual.
Designed for New and Returning Players
Whether you’re stepping into the franchise for the first time or you’ve been following the Neighbor from the beginning, Hello Neighbor 3 has been designed as a fresh entry point.
Eerie Guest Studios and Nikita Kolesnikov have ensured that no prior knowledge of the series is required, making this the most accessible starting point yet while still offering plenty for longtime fans to dig into.
New Systems Change How You Play
This Pre-Alpha introduces several key gameplay changes that shake up the traditional Hello Neighbor formula.
A new objective system helps guide players through the story without removing the freedom the series is known for. Exploration remains at the forefront, but players now have clearer direction as they progress.
Perhaps the biggest shift comes with the introduction of loop-based progression. Instead of relying on speedrunning mechanics, the game now resets in cycles. Each loop allows you to retain knowledge and completed objectives, encouraging experimentation without punishment.
This system opens the door for players to approach challenges in multiple ways, reinforcing the idea that there’s no single “correct” path forward.
Improved AI and Expanded World
Character behaviour has also been reworked to feel more consistent and readable, making stealth gameplay more reliable than in previous entries. Sneaking plays a bigger role than ever, allowing players to carefully navigate encounters rather than relying on trial and error.
Meanwhile, the map of Raven Brooks has been expanded with new مناطق, items, and visual upgrades, offering more opportunities to explore—and more secrets to uncover.
And yes, players will finally come face-to-face with the Neighbor once again.
Player Freedom at the Core
Speaking about the direction of the game, Nikita Kolesnikov emphasised the team’s focus on player choice:
“We’re building Hello Neighbor 3 around the idea that there is no wrong way to play. With the Pre-Alpha, we’re going to see how players actually use that freedom.”
This philosophy sits at the heart of the new design, encouraging players to experiment, adapt, and uncover the story in their own way.
Early Days, Big Potential
As a Pre-Alpha, this build represents just a small slice of what Hello Neighbor 3 aims to become. However, it already shows clear ambition, with new systems, expanded exploration, and a stronger focus on player-driven storytelling.
For fans of stealth horror—or anyone curious about the series—this is the perfect opportunity to step into Raven Brooks and see where the mystery leads.
