Konami has announced details of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2020, taking place in Minneapolis between August 22nd and August 23rd.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship sees qualified Duelists for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links compete for the title of King of Games.
European qualifiers will take place between July 10th and July 12th 2020 in Krakow, Poland, with details of Oceania qualifiers to be announced soon.
In Europe, to qualify for WCS 2020:
- Top-performing Duelists at the European 2020 World Championship Qualifier (EUWCQ) and the top players in the World Qualifying Points Playoff (WQP Playoff) will qualify
- Duelists born in 2006 or later: the top-performing Duelists in the Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier will qualify
In Oceania, to qualify for WCS 2020:
- Top-performing Duelists at the Oceanic 2020 World Championship Qualifier (OCWCQ) will qualify
- Duelists born in 2006 or later: the top-performing Duelists in the Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier will qualify
