After launching the original version back in April, Salix Games has announced its new localised Russian, French, and German versions of Dance of Death: Du Lac & Fey are now live as part of a wider update of the investigative adventure.
The new localised versions are designed to bring Dance of Death: Du Lac & Fey’s unique narrative-led take on Victorian London to new markets, as well as adding fixes and fresh features to the current English version for the benefit of existing fans.
For newcomers, Dance of Death: Du Lac & Fey tells the tale not only of the hunt for London’s most notorious murderer, Jack the Ripper, but also the harsh realities of the lives of those existing in the British capital at the time of his reign of terror.
The updated Dance of Death: Du Lac & Fey includes: –
- Three new languages, fully localised with text
- Additional tutorial tips to help new players
- Significant changes to the mechanics of Dance of Death: Du Lac & Fey: Movement and potions mini-game systems have had a major overhaul
- Save game system fixed and reinforced
- Romanceable Du Lac and Alex storyline is now fully explorable.
- New interactions to help cast light on the finer details in Mary & Du Lac’s journals
- More conversations with the locals of Whitechapel and additional side quests
- Additional achievements – now totaling 36
- Updated Potion mini-games
- Various dialogue, lipsync and subtitle fixes
- Additional VFX
- Additional cutscenes
Developer Salix Games has also now released a 200+ page art book and original soundtrack, which is almost two hours’ worth of music spread across 39 tracks by two world class composers Jools Scott (Flanders Remembers St Pauls Cathedral) and Jeff Rona (God of War, Devil May Cry 5).
