PUBG MOBILE today reveals the details of the PUBG MOBILE Club Open (PMCO) Spring Split for Americas, Europe, Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia, beginning this February! The newly expanded PMCO is the semi-pro tier of the PUBG MOBILE Esports ecosystem, offering aspiring stars from 27 regions the chance to Be the #1 and compete with the best PUBG MOBILE players in the world at the PMPL later this year. Over 58,808 teams from 180 countries and regions across the globe have signed up to compete in the PMCOs, a 55% increase in participation from 2020.
PMCO is the first phase of the new 2021 PUBG MOBILE esports program, which offers a total prize pool of $14,000,000 USD. The 2020 esport program concluded in January, with the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) Finals, the biggest event in PUBG MOBILE Esports history, which attracted over 3.8M peak concurrent viewers, and saw NOVA-XQF crowned the first PMGC Champions.

The PUBG MOBILE esports ecosystem began in 2018 with grassroots events across the world, and 2020 saw the completion of the amateur to pro circuit with the introduction of the PMPL, and the major expansion of the PMCO to 27 regions. The 2021 program now supports competitors of all levels from amateur to semi-pro and pro across multiple countries and regions, ensuring a clear path for talented players to progress.
