It’s true what they say, Britannia rules the waves. The original navy is receiving reinforcements in World of Warships. Nine speedy but deadly members of the Royal Navy are taking their place in the Port ready for their maiden voyage into virtual battle. They have a lot of unique characteristics and when combined with their main battery and torpedoes, victory is even closer.

These destroyers fight for queen and country and have some advantages up their sleeves which can surprise seafaring rivals and find a way out of almost any situation: the tube-by-tube torpedo launching system (which unites them with their national cruisers), a unique smoke screen as well as Hydroacoustic Search and Repair Party consumables at high tiers.
The new navy additions allow players to choose the best tactics based on the current situation to rule the waves. Using the smoke screen can keep hold of an important strategic area or cover an allied ship while taking advantage of the Hydroacoustic Search will help to clear an area of enemy destroyers.
The British Destroyers are part of Update 0.7.10 which is available now along with the Halloween event operations. The update also brings with it hockey legend, Alexander Ovechkin.
