This GFN Thursday is packed with news for GeForce NOW from E3. It’s a time of celebration for the announcements of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which will be coming to GeForce NOW upon release, and for Humankind, which is streaming on GeForce NOW during the Closed Beta this week.
Members also get a fresh update, rolling out now; plus 10 games joining GeForce NOW this week, including day-and-date release titles like Overcooked! 2 on Epic Games Store — one of the free games of the week from June 17-24 — The Universim, Roguebook and more.
You’ve Got This. Probably.
Major game announcements from E3 included Square Enix’s Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy releasing on Steam, and streaming on GeForce NOW, on October 26. With the unpredictable Guardians at your side, members will blast their way from one explosive situation to another, with original and iconic Marvel characters caught in a struggle for the fate of the universe.
How Far Will You Push Humankind?
Another exciting E3 announcement included a Closed Beta for SEGA and Amplitude Studios’ magnum opus, Humankind. While the turn-based historical strategy game releases on Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 17, Closed Beta players get an early chance to make history by combining up to 60 cultures and leading civilization from the Ancient to the Modern age. GeForce NOW members who pre-ordered Humankind and were granted Closed Beta access can stream the game from this GFN Thursday (June 17) until June 21.
Be a Priority
As a special E3 offer, new GeForce NOW free members received three days of priority access to the service. While the sign-up window has closed, members have until June 30 to redeem this offer and enjoy priority perks that elevate the GeForce NOW gaming experience, including front-of-line access to gaming servers, extended session lengths, and RTX ON for beautiful ray-traced graphics.
Beaming Updates from the Cloud
GeForce NOW has key updates coming, including new in-stream statistics available in the overlay and menus, quality of service improvements to improve latency for games supporting Adaptive Vsync, fit-and-finish changes to improve use and loading smoothness, and a native keyboard input method editor.
