Last week, the serene exofarming adventure, Lightyear Frontier, landed on Xbox Game Pass Standard for Xbox Series X|S. Now, Xbox Game Pass members across all tiers can hop into their mechs, explore a mysterious alien world, and craft their ultimate intergalactic farm.
Over 1 Million Players and Growing
Since its Early Access launch in March 2023, Lightyear Frontier has drawn over 1 million unique players. Thanks to feedback from its passionate community, developer FRAME BREAK has rolled out a trio of massive updates, shaping the game into a farming sim like no other.
Big Updates So Far

- Making It Home: Added wall decorations, extended day/night cycles, and emotes.
- Neighbors and Animals: Introduced new characters, animal care mechanics, Lawnmower Mode, and unique questlines.
- Trailblazer: Brought mech transformations, speedy wheel attachments, third-person farmer mode, and major quality-of-life updates.
