Raw Fury has outgrown its old Hangout in Gamla Stan, Stockholm and has moved into The House of Fury in Södermalm, Stockholm, the hotbed of the Swedish games industry scene.
“We’ll miss that place but for the future of Fury, we ended up needing a whole house. Because somehow, over the last couple of years, Raw Fury has grown to close to 40 people, spread around five countries and two continents. Crazy.” says Jonas Antonsson, founder of Raw Fury.
The approach of treating people like people has proven to be successful. Instead of pitting developers and publishers against each other, Raw Fury has focused on building positive and healthy relationships with its partners.
“We’ve grown as we started seeing too many games that were just pure magic and we simply had to figure out a way to work with the amazing developers behind them. This meant finding new Furies to help us ensure that we would stay true to not neglecting any developer,” explains Antonsson.
On top of moving into The House of Fury at the beginning of September, Raw Fury also opened a new studio in Zagreb, Croatia called Fury Studios. This new group of Furies will enable Raw Fury to offer its developers direct support with anything technical – porting, code optimization, feature development, test and deployment automation, API integrations, and more. Additional info on Fury Studios will be revealed in the coming months.
“Raw Fury is an experiment. An attempt to show that you can be kind and trusting and try to always do the right thing and you can still be successful. This is the fundamental underpinning of the Tenets of Fury,” says Antonsson referring to the beliefs:
- Treat people like people
- For happiness, over profit
- Games are art
