The first issue will include BATTLEFIELD V cover, major FORTNITE feature plus a guide on how to get started in streaming.
GAME Digital is partnering with industry specialists Network N to bring a new print video game magazine to the UK high street.
The magazine will be freely distributed in GAME’s network of over 300 UK stores. The print run to match GAME’s UK footfall means that the launch expects to deliver more reach than any other UK game magazine, and possibly all of them put together, and it’s free.
Natalie Amosu, CMO of GAME Digital said, “We’re passionate about games and about our customers, so the chance to create a free magazine to share the news we’re all interested in, straight after E3, written by a top UK editorial team seemed like a perfect opportunity.”
The magazine will be published by Network N. COO Tim Edwards said, “We’re excited to build on the success of our digital and in-store work with GAME, and leverage the distribution and audience engagement opportunity. We have recruited the best UK editorial team for this issue and we’re excited about the massive stories and exclusives we’re putting in.”
The first issue of the GAME Magazine will be in-stores week commencing 2nd July and features EA’s BATTLEFIELD V on the front cover, inside there will be all the news from E3, a major 4 page feature on Epic’s FORNITE as well as a guide on how to get started in streaming and esports and absolutely tons more. Customers using the GAME mobile app will also be able to shop every page via Ads Reality technology.
