There was a lot of pressure on Sony this year to take it up another notch again, after showcasing some great E3’s over the last couple of years, but this year, it was nowhere near as good.
I had hopes of a new Crash Bandicoot, stupid of me, as the franchise is owned by Activision, not Sony and Activision are pushing the Remastered still. Maybe a surprise PlayStation 5, but I had to be honest with myself, this was shot down a few weeks ago within interviews and tweets. Maybe an upgraded PSVR, since all the other companies are doing it, but we all know PSVR is not doing so hot, so why would they waste more money on it. Maybe some footage of Final Fantasy 7 remake, nope, this game is in trouble and maybe years away, OK bloodborne 2, again nope the studio is currently making other games, oh come on, how about Horizon: Zero Dawn 2, bit early I guess, so what did they show? well, here they are below.
The Last of us Two
OK, I loved the original and I am very much looking forward to playing the one, the game looks amazing, but I have seen footage before and I knew it was coming. Sony, should have given us a release date.
Ghost of Tsushima
There have seen a few samurai games recently and in all honesty not interested in playing another one.
Control is a third-person game from Remedy, heading to PC, PS4 and Xbox One
Now control looks interesting and Remedy does make some amazing games, this is one of the game that made me smile and a game I would be looking to get.
Resident Evil 2 remaster. Due for release Jan 2019 coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC
I loved the remake of Resident Evil 1, but I still prefer to play the original, I will most likely be grabbing this one, but I wonder will I still go back to the original version of the game again, it was great to some footage.
Some more Kingdom Hearts 3 this time from the Pirates of the Caribbean world.
Not a fan of Kingdom Hearts, so this was where I went and got a drink.

Very interested in this game, yet I still know nothing about it and the trailer, still make no bloody sense. This is yet another game I knew about and already seen footage about it, however a damn release date.
Nioh 2
This was a surprise, and I did say above that I shall not grab another Samurai game, this one I would make an exception.

Movie Franchise games normally flop when we get to gaming or visa versa, this game though does look amazing and I can not wait to play it, still no release date.

Trover Saves the Universe
Now Gamers or PS Fans will love the videos of Spiderman, The Last of Us 2, Death Stranding, but none came with Release Dates. There were no indie games, racing games, fps games and many other genres, it was lacking in so much.
NIOH 2, was a nice surprise, but is it an exclusive? No, it is coming to PC as well. We knew about Resident Evil 2 Remake, is it a PS4 Exclusive, no, it is also coming to Xbox One and PC. Kingdom Hearts 3, we have seen loads of footage already from the Xbox Showcase and the Square Enix Showcase, this was just boring.
I wanted to see more, more in regards to release dates, more in regards to indies, more genres, just more of everything.
I really do not know If I liked this year’s Sony Conference, but if I was going, to be honest with myself, I would have to say NO, it was rubbish. Everything I liked I already knew was coming out soon or later and the three extras Control, Resident Evil 2 and Nioh 2, did not really make me go feck yeah. I hope 2019 E3 for Sony is much better than this years.
If I was, to be honest, the games that peaked my interest where the following: The Division 2, Starlink, Skull & Bones, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Assassin Creed Odyssey, Halo Infinite, Hitman 2, Rage 2, DOOM Eternals, The Elder Scrolls VI, Fallout 76, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Gears 5, Forza Horizon 4, Cyberpunk 2077 and Dying Light 2. So Ubisoft and Bethesda where my Favourites from this years E3.
