As GeForce NOW enters year two, and rapidly approaches 10 million members, the service is ready to kick things up a notch.
GeForce NOW launched out of beta last February with Founders memberships — a limited time, promotional plan. On Thursday, Founders memberships will close to new registrations and Priority memberships, the new premium offering, will be introduced.
To thank our paying Founders members, some of whom have been GeForce NOW members dating back to the early stages of the beta in 2017, will retain their special £4.99 a month (or £24.95 for 6 months) pricing for life.
Our new premium offering, Priority membership, receives the same benefits as Founders members. These include priority access to gaming sessions, extended session lengths and RTX ON for beautifully ray-traced graphics in supported games.
Monthly memberships are available at £8.99 a month in the UK and €9.99 per month in Ireland. A new annual membership option, at £89.99 in the UK or €99.99 per year in Ireland, provides the best value.
The attached blog draft has more on this, plus updates to the service as well, including:
- Improved quality of service, rolling out to members now
- Adding capacity to support ongoing growth, including two new data centers coming soon
- Upcoming improvements to get members in the game faster, like account linking for key games and pre-loading
- This week’s GFN Thursday game releases, plus a new tool that’ll help us speed up onboarding
New memberships, improved streaming, more games — GeForce NOW year two is off to a great start, with tons more in store.
