Want to make your wedding reception memorable for your guests? Don’t know how?
Most of the people you ask will tell you to book a wonderful wedding venue, arrange a delicious buffet and hire a professional event planner. But from my experience, I can tell you that it won’t be enough.
You need to give something to your guests that they never experienced at a wedding. Something they won’t forget ever. WHAT, you ask?
Arrange some fun games and activities to entertain them. Keep them occupied with interesting tasks.

Lawn Games
Lawn games are the most popular wedding activity because a good number of people can participate in a game at a time. Here are some lawn game ideas for you –
1. Jenga
This classic block stacking game is known to all. That’s why you won’t have to spend on explaining it to the guests.
Besides, you can create a giant version of the Jenga blocks with wood logs lying around. A giant jenga block will surely make your wedding fun and memorable.
2. Badminton
Badminton might require some gears but it is suitable for guests of any age.
Your friends, as well as their young kids, can enjoy this sport in the backyard or lawn.

To make things extra fun, you can write the names of guests and bridal party members on the bottles and rings to see odd & funny pairs.

Don’t blame me if I subconsciously put more than one games from the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. After the Beat Battle, Pictionary is my favorite from the show and that’s what I would suggest for your guests.
Pair the guests or make groups of 3, 4 or 5. Then give them the same clue to complete. And if you pair them in families, this is a great game to show the family bonding among your guests.

Wheel of Fun is another Game show idea that you most probably saw on TV.
Fill the wheel with funs details like “what’s your go-to pick up line?” or “what’s your generic disco move?”. Trust me, everyone will have some good laughs.
13. Shoe game
Though your guests won’t be joining in this game, they’ll have a great time watching the bride and groom confess who really said “I love you” first.
This is played by the bride and groom each holding one of bride’s shoe in one hand and groom’s in the other. They use the shoes to answer the question like “Who proposed first?” “Who loves the other person more?”, “Who was always late on dates?” etc.
14. Dart art station
Get a big canvas and set it up in a safe place where guests or the couple themselves can shoot the paint-filled balloons with darts.
Wonder two artists getting married without anything to do with arts – chills.
14. Scavenger hunt
Good old scavenger hunt can be a great way to make the guests excited and competitive, especially if it is a destination wedding.
Set clues around the wedding venue with some gifts at the end for the winner.
A crazy idea – convince the bride and groom to pair up and play. Leave the end clue at the wedding podium, wouldn’t it be a good way to bring them on stage.
