Skins are one of the most popular micro transactions in online gaming. This is also the case with CS: GO.
CS: GO weapon skins are still very popular around 8 years after the game was released. Sometimes individual skins are sold for several thousand euros and in recent years a real market for CS: GO skin has been launched.
After a talk with the specialist Evelyn Balyton, we’ll tell you what the rarest and best skins are and where you can get them.
CS: GO: Customize the game with different skins
Most CS: GO players will be familiar with the term skins in the game for a long time and maybe you have already let one or two euros jump for a weapon skin while playing Valve.
A skin is a custom texture for display in video games, mostly cosmetic changes. In CS: GO you can use skins to change the appearance of your weapons and your own look.
The skins do not necessarily help you to become a better player, but are only there to add more variety to the game and to stand out from other players. There are also stickers that can be placed on the weapon. If there is a particularly rare sticker on a weapon with a particularly rare skin, the prices for a weapon can rise to over 10,000 euros.
With CS: GO it is possible to receive certain items through a few different ways:
- microtransactions, which means that you pay with real money
- drops, which are randomly distributed to players at the end of a game round
- gifts from fellow players or friends.
Sometimes you can also get a new skin by reaching experience levels, ranks or as a mission reward. In return, you can also swap 10 skins for one of the rarer ones with a trade-up contract.
If you like sports betting and are a fan of CS:GO, know you can mix both of them. Just check the Mightytips in the Philippines and see their list of bookmakers which offer CS:GO as one of their sports.
CS: GO: Prices and classes of the different skins
At CS: GO there are a total of seven different classes. The first six are the rarity levels of the skins in the game. The most common are gray weapon skins, the least common are the red ones.
The last class is what is known as “smuggled goods”, which includes all items that have been removed from the game due to copyright or other reasons.
In addition, the different skins, with the exception of the knife skins, are arranged according to different collections. The various collections are often based on the theme of a single card, such as: B. the Nuke collection. However, there are also card-independent classes such as the gods and monsters collection.
The collection of randomly discarded weapon skins does not depend on which map the player has played. For example, playing on the train map does not guarantee the player a skin from the train collection.
CS: GO: The best skins for less than five euros
But good skins don’t have to be expensive. If you really only want to flex your opponents with a cool-looking weapon on Mirage, you can be happy with skins for less than 5 euros.
That’s why we’ve put together our top 10 best skins for you at a reasonable price.
Just know that there are thousands of skins, so don’t consider our list to be the ultimate. After all, tastes are different.
