Save Your Game – The Red Bull Gaming Podcast is a brand new concept challenging the most celebrated personalities in the industry to explore the games that shaped their lives, but only one can be immortalised as their ‘save game.’
In the third episode, Mossad “Msdossary” Aldossary reveals to host Frankie Ward how he got his start in gaming, representing Saudi Arabia in FIFA, and going from playing casually with his siblings, to becoming the FIFA world champion a year after his pro debut.
Mossad “Msdossary” Al-Dossary is a Red Bull pro-gamer and professional FIFA pro for Tundra Esports. As a former FIFA world champion, Msdossary discusses the games that changed his life and his relationship with FIFA which began at eight years old, as well as his thoughts on going pro in Call of Duty, and playing with some of football’s biggest stars, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Discussing his transition to becoming a pro and reflecting on his first FIFA tournament, Msdossary said:
“There was a part of me that didn’t want to enter the pro life and travel all over the world just to play FIFA. Although it was a good prize pool [FIFA 2017], if I went there, I knew I wouldn’t be able to go back to my old life, and I’d be known as a pro player. I had to ask my parents, and if one of them said no, I would have used that as an excuse not to go, but they both said yes. At the end of the day, I won the tournament and at that time I couldn’t have stepped back into my life and so I continued as a pro player.”
Episode three of the podcast launches today and is available to listen to now on all major podcast streaming platforms, including Apple and Spotify.
