SEGA has officially launched Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, bringing with it a wave of exciting updates and modern features for both competitive and casual fans of the franchise. This latest entry introduces cross-play support, rollback netcode for smoother online matches, an enhanced training mode, and a brand-new single-player experience — World Stage mode — where fighters can battle through challenging rivals on their journey to become the ultimate martial artist.

Meanwhile, PlayStation 4 owners of Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (whether through PSN purchase or a past PlayStation Plus redemption) can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version of R.E.V.O. World Stage at a discounted rate — £7.99 for the base version, or £32.99 for the 30th Anniversary Edition.
