SEGA has revealed Brazil as the latest international destination coming to Crazy Taxi World Tour, with a new map trailer showcasing the next location in the upcoming arcade driving adventure.
The trailer was unveiled by Kenji Kanno, creator of the original Crazy Taxi and producer of Crazy Taxi: World Tour. Brazil is the fourth of five maps planned for the game’s new single-player World Tour story campaign.
Players can expect to race through lively city streets and along stunning coastlines, with Brazil’s distinctive scenery providing a new backdrop for the series’ trademark high-speed taxi driving.
Crazy Taxi Takes to the Streets of Brazil
The Brazil map features a mix of dense urban streets, modern city environments, vibrant beaches and dramatic natural scenery. SEGA has also included several recognisable real-world businesses, with Habib’s, Fogo de Chão and Fast Shop among the storefronts players can spot while racing through the map.
The inclusion of familiar retailers continues a tradition from earlier entries in the series, bringing real-world details into its fictional driving environments.
Kenji Kanno, producer of Crazy Taxi: World Tour, said: “The striking contrast between Brazil’s dense, eclectic streetscapes and modern city life heavily inspired our team. Alongside the bright, vibrant beaches and dramatic natural scenery, we hope players can immerse themselves in the beauty and excitement of Brazil.”
