Gaming comfort products are becoming increasingly common, but most of them usually fall into one of two categories. They are either overcomplicated gimmicks that barely improve the experience, or they simply repackage something we already own with a gaming logo slapped on top.
The Coqui & Mi LEVEL UP WRAP surprised me because it actually solves a real problem many PC gamers and home workers deal with every single day.
Living in the UK, my home rarely gets above 17–19°C, even when it is supposedly warm outside. Because of that, I practically live in my Oodie. It has become my default comfort item during colder evenings, gaming sessions, and long work days. So when I first saw the LEVEL UP WRAP, I honestly thought it would just be another version of the same idea.
It turns out it solves a completely different problem.
Not Something You Wear — Something You Use
The biggest difference between the LEVEL UP WRAP and traditional oversized hoodies or blankets is that this is not really designed as clothing. Instead, it is designed to become part of your gaming chair setup.
That distinction matters far more than I expected.

When gaming or working at my desk in my small office, I tend to warm up rather quickly around my shoulders and upper body while my legs stay freezing cold. It is one of those classic UK household problems. An Oodie works brilliantly for lounging around the house, but at a desk it can become awkward after a while. It bunches up behind your back, can make your upper body overheat, and sometimes restricts your arms slightly during longer mouse and keyboard sessions.
The LEVEL UP WRAP avoids all of that because you are not actually wearing it.
You sit down, pull it over your legs, wrap it around your body, and then just game. Once your session is finished, you simply leave it attached to the chair ready for next time. No changing clothes, no tangled blankets, and no constantly overheating after an intense gaming session.
That targeted warmth ended up making a surprisingly big difference during longer sessions. Instead of trapping heat around your entire body, it focuses comfort exactly where it is needed while still allowing proper movement and airflow around your upper body.
It has not replaced my Oodie — I still absolutely live in that thing — but the LEVEL UP WRAP fills the one gap oversized hoodies do not really solve: desk comfort without the bulk, sweat, or movement restriction.

Built Around Long Gaming Sessions
What makes the LEVEL UP WRAP stand out is how natural it feels to use once it becomes part of your setup. After a couple of days, it genuinely starts feeling like part of the chair itself rather than a separate accessory.
One of the standout surprises is the glow-in-the-dark design elements. The stars and controller graphics subtly glow when the lights go off, which is a really nice touch during late-night gaming sessions. My kids absolutely loved this feature when the room was dark, especially during evening gaming time.
It adds a bit of personality to the setup without being distracting, and it actually works better than expected in low-light environments.
For anyone spending hours at a PC gaming, editing, streaming, or working from home, that level of comfort and small detail adds up quickly.
Secure Chair Attachment That Actually Stays Put
One thing that impressed me more than expected is how the wrap attaches to the chair.
It uses three Velcro straps:
- One around the neck cushion area, make sure to remove the neck cushion first and lumbar support.
- One around the middle of the backrest
- One underneath the chair for full stability
This setup keeps everything locked in place properly, even during longer gaming sessions where you are shifting around in your seat.
Despite being a fairly large wrap, it never once slipped under the wheels of my chair, which was something I was initially worried about. Everything stayed exactly where it should be.

Comfort in All Conditions
Another big win is how well it balances temperature control.
It is great for cold nights, but just as useful on warmer evenings too. You never feel overly hot or overly cold, and it completely eliminates those uncomfortable sweaty moments you sometimes get with thicker hoodies or blankets.
Instead of locking in heat everywhere, it focuses comfort where you actually need it, making long gaming sessions much more manageable.
Material & Sustainability
The LEVEL UP WRAP is made with Oeko-Tex certified recycled polyester, which means it is designed to be soft on the skin while also being more environmentally conscious.
It feels smooth and comfortable during extended use, and the recycled material choice is a nice bonus that adds some extra value beyond just comfort and design.

The Design Choice That Still Stands Out
After looking into it more, I discovered that “Coqui” is actually a type of frog. I will admit that initially confused me a little because I expected something more directly gaming-related from the branding. It is unusual, but it does make the name more memorable.
Where It Could Improve
Velcro Fastening System
This section is not related to the Velcro fastening used to attach the LEVEL UP WRAP to the chair; it refers specifically to the chest Velcro fastener (see image below for clarity).
The current Velcro system functions well, however, I can see it potentially wearing down over time with heavy daily use. A magnetic buckle, quick-release clip, or breakaway fastening system would offer a more premium feel, improved durability, and allow for quicker, easier movement away from the chair when needed.

Interior Rubber Branding
The rubber interior logo looks good visually, but it can feel cold against skin if you are using the wrap without a top layer.
A fabric-based print or stitched design could improve comfort while also potentially reducing production costs.
Final Verdict
The Coqui & Mi LEVEL UP WRAP ended up being far more useful than I initially expected.
It solves a very specific problem that a lot of PC gamers and remote workers deal with: staying warm at a desk without overheating or restricting movement.
It is not trying to replace hoodies or blankets. Instead, it complements them by focusing on seated comfort during long sessions.
There are small improvements that could be made, but overall it delivers exactly what it sets out to do.
