SQUARE ENIX has officially unveiled DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY, the next evolution in its beloved crossover franchise. Launching as a free-to-play title on iOS and Android in 2026, the game invites fans to step back into battle with iconic warriors from across the FINAL FANTASY universe — this time with a bold new twist.
Players eager to dive in early can sign up now for the Android Closed Beta Test, which runs from November 6 to November 14, 2025 (PST) / November 7 to November 14, 2025 (UTC) in eligible regions across the United States and Canada. Registration is open until October 28.

A New Chapter in the DISSIDIA Legacy
DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY builds on the rich heritage of the DISSIDIA series, offering a 3v3 boss battle arena where two teams and roaming monsters clash in fast-paced combat. The goal? Defeat the massive boss before your rivals do. Featuring cel-shaded visuals that bring each hero to life, the game promises exhilarating one-handed gameplay — accessible yet skill-driven.
A Story Set in Modern-Day Tokyo
This new entry brings the epic fantasy crossover into a strikingly familiar setting — modern Tokyo. A mysterious, glowing crystal has merged with city life, but peace shatters when a dark energy corrupts it, unleashing nightmarish monsters upon humanity. Amid the chaos, warriors from across the FINAL FANTASY worlds appear, battling the darkness as anonymous saviours the public calls “Ghosts.”
The game will feature a fully voiced Japanese main story complemented by shorter side episodes revealing the daily lives of each warrior. Abilities and summons are accompanied by beautiful character art from a lineup of renowned artists, continuing the series’ tradition of exceptional design and presentation.

The Closed Beta Test will run daily from:

- November 7 to November 14, 2025 – 3:00 a.m. to 8:59 a.m. (UTC)
