Italian Games Factory has announced that its upcoming dark sci-fi action game Hell Galaxy will now launch on Steam on August 12, 2026, giving the development team additional time to complete final balancing, optimisation and polish ahead of the game’s Version 1.0 release.
The delay will allow the team to further refine gameplay systems, improve overall performance, and ensure that players receive the strongest possible experience when they enter the dangerous depths of the Neterun galaxy.

Italian Games Factory explained that the additional development time reflects the studio’s commitment to delivering a polished experience from day one.
Every major system, encounter and gameplay mechanic is receiving further attention before release, helping ensure Hell Galaxy arrives in the best possible state.
Giorgio Xhaxho, Lead Producer at Italian Games Factory, said:
“We’re incredibly close to the finish line, and while Hell Galaxy is already in a great place, we believe taking a little more time now will make a big difference for players on launch day.”
He added that the remaining weeks will allow the team to fine-tune balance, add additional polish and prepare the best possible Version 1.0 experience before welcoming players into the Neterun galaxy.
