Old School RuneScape players have just a few days left to prepare for the competitive DMM Tournament which opens to members this Friday. The Tournament is part of Jagex’s contribution the game industry’s #PlayApartTogether initiative.
The month-long tournament will open this Friday, May 1st 2020, at 13.00 BST. All players begin with brand new characters and race to level up as quickly as possible. DMM takes place on a dangerous PvP server and when players are killed, they’ll forfeit substantial progress.
After the fierce opening stages, the top 2,000 contestants advance to the live finale on May 30th, where they will battle it out until only 256 players remain. Those brave souls will then take part in a 1v1 knockout until a victor emerges!
Along with the player prizes listed below, Jagex will also donate £25,000 to its three partnered mental health charities – CPSL Mind, The Prince’s Trust, and Rise Above The Disorder – as part of its £100,000 commitment to support their work during the Coronavirus pandemic.
