PUBG MOBILE is pleased to present the first PUBG MOBILE Pro League (PMPL) in Western Europe which will see the best team’s from Europe, Middle East and Africa go head-to-head for a total prize pool of US $150,000. PMPL Western Europe which starts on May 17th represents PUBG MOBILE’s commitment to expanding its esports program in the west with tournament opportunities across more regions than ever before.
The four-week-long PMPL Western Europe Season 1 will be hosted with the best 20 teams from PMCO Germany, PMCO France, PMCO UK & a selection of PMCO European wildcards from May 17th to June 12th, 2021. The tournament is divided into three weeks of league play with a three days finals during the fourth week. The top 3 teams from PMPL Western Europe Season 1 will then advance to the four day PMPL EMEA Championship from June-17 to June-20 to compete with the best teams from other PMPL’s in Europe, Middle East and Africa for the title of the best team in the EMEA region and an additional prize pool of US $150,000.
PMPL Western Europe is PUBG MOBILE’s latest tournament series in the PUBG MOBILE Esports ecosystem in Western Europe in 2021. Together with the already established PUBG MOBILE Club Open, and other ongoing events like PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship for students and the recently announced PUBG MOBILE National Championship, PUBG MOBILE players in Western Europe have a variety of tournaments to choose from with an accumulated total prize pool of over US $400,000 for the region throughout 2021.
OnePlus will be the official tournament title sponsor for PMPL Western Europe Season 1 and Season 2.
