Leading global esports organisation Team Vitality is excited to announce in partnership with adidas a selection of Fortnite challenges to celebrate the launch of the VIT.02 sneakers.
Team Vitality has built a special Fortnite creative version of its state-of-the-art V.Hive facility where players are able to participate in both a death run and zombie map for a selection of adidas prizes inducing the brand new VIT.02 sneakers.
In just under 24 hours since release, VIT.02 sold double the number of pairs in the same timespan as its first iteration VIT.01.
Fortnite players are able to experience Team Vitality’s ultimate fan destination V.Hive in the virtual world. Players can access V.Hive through the room code 0028-9881-2571 and take part in two challenges, a death run map and zombie map, to win a selection of prizes.
Players can enter the Deathrun Map by going into the V.Hive basement and approaching the cinema screen or enter directly with the code 6650-3240-1958. The contest will run from the 16th December 2020 till 4th January 2021 where players can challenge each other and try to complete the death run in the best time possible.
The Zombie Map challenge will run from the 16th to 24th December and can be accessed by the code 6963-3581-4615. Challengers will need to survive 5 successive waves of zombies to be in with a chance to win coveted prizes.
In order to submit their performances for both challenges, participants must visit vit02.com
Prizes include a range of Team Vitality and adidas goodies including VIT.02 sneakers, VIT.02 t-shirt, Vitality 2020 jacket, and more.
Team Vitality’s ambassador Gotaga unveiled the map live on his Twitch stream on Tuesday evening where he took on both challenges. Since then a multitude of Team Vitality players and ambassador have also enjoyed challenging themselves.
The Fortnite challenges mark the release of VIT.02, the second version of Team Vitality and adidas’ limited-edition sneakers. The sneakers have taken inspiration from Dragon Ball Z and include Team Vitality’s signature branding as well as both adidas’ BOOST technology and special colour-changing elements.
