NC America has officially launched its new MMORPG AION 2 in Early Access on PC through Steam and NC’s proprietary PURPLE platform.
Early Access gives players who purchase one of the three AION 2 Founder’s Packs access to the full game five days ahead of its official launch on Monday, October 5.
AION 2 Early Access Includes the Full Experience
Unlike the more limited scope of the recent Launch Scale Test, Early Access includes the game’s major online features and systems. Players can experience the wardrobe and transmog systems, PvP content including battlegrounds and dimensional rifts, progress retention, high-level content, marketplace activity and the in-game economy, as well as cash shop cosmetics.
This means Early Access is effectively the full AION 2 experience, with players able to progress their characters and explore the game’s online systems ahead of the official launch.
AION 2 Founder’s Packs Start at $24.99
There are three AION 2 Founder’s Pack tiers available, with prices starting at $24.99 for the Standard edition. The Deluxe edition costs $49.99, while the Ultimate edition is priced at $99.99.
All three Founder’s Packs include the Early Access pass along with 30 days of membership. Depending on the edition purchased, players can also receive additional perks including titles, cosmetics, starter chests, skins and wings.
Full details on each Founder’s Pack and purchasing options are available through the AION 2 Steam page and NC’s PURPLE platform.
Flight Takes Centre Stage in AION 2
Flight remains one of the defining features of AION 2, allowing players to freely take to the skies across a world that NC America says is 36 times larger than the original AION.
Players can also dive underwater and engage in aerial combat, with flight playing into both PvE and PvP gameplay.
AION 2 previously launched in Korea and Taiwan in November 2025, with the Western release now bringing the MMORPG to PC players through Steam and PURPLE.
AION 2 Official Launch Date
Early Access is available now for Founder’s Pack owners, with the official launch of AION 2 scheduled for Monday, October 5.
The MMORPG is available to players on PC through Steam and NC America’s PURPLE platform, with the game set to transition from its paid Early Access period into its official launch.
