The system introduces two distinct types of content. The first includes featured maps created in collaboration between Techland developers and selected community creators. The second highlights standout mods chosen for their creativity, ambition and unique interpretations of the Dying Light 2 formula.

The Breach launches with its first chapter titled Survival Archives, arriving as part of Patch 1.28.
This opening chapter introduces a selection of curated and community-created maps that dramatically alter how Dying Light 2 can be played. Some experiences have been refined alongside the development team, while others arrive in a more raw form, showcasing bold ideas straight from the community.
The result is a wide variety of gameplay scenarios that push beyond the standard experience, including:
