IO Interactive has revealed a new celebrity Elusive Target for HITMAN World of Assassination, with popular YouTuber Jacksepticeye stepping into Agent 47’s world as a controversial content creator who has plenty to hide.
Available from October 29 until November 25, 2026, the new mission, titled The Host, features Seán McLoughlin’s likeness and voice work. Players can take on the target for free through the main game or its Free Demo, provided they have access to the Hawke’s Bay location.
The mission is part of a new season of content that also brings returning Elusive Targets, additional challenges, Featured Contracts and rewards for players to unlock.
Agent 47 Goes Undercover in The Host
Jacksepticeye plays Finn Colton, better known online as Finnvictus. A wealthy and controversial content creator, Colton has attracted criticism for exploitative contracts that push his employees to their limits. His past as a children’s television star makes his current online empire an even stranger proposition.
When a creator disappears after signing a contract with Colton’s team, the evidence points towards murder. The victim’s relative hires Agent 47 to investigate, but Colton’s money and influence have made it difficult to bring him to justice.
Colton spends much of his time at a remote content complex in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, where cameras livestream practically every aspect of his life around the clock. Getting close to the target means playing along with his online world, so Agent 47 secures a guest spot on the Finn and Friends podcast under the alias Tobias Rieper, posing as a so-called thought leader.
With cameras everywhere and a paranoid target watching his surroundings, 47 will need to be careful not to attract unwanted attention.
The mission introduces a new character and storyline to the World of Assassination, with a darkly comic look at the strange world of content creation. Both Colton and Agent 47 rely on disguises to do their jobs, although their attitudes towards the people behind those masks could hardly be more different.
Jacksepticeye said he has played HITMAN with his community for years, making the opportunity to become part of the game an exciting experience. He described Finn as loud, paranoid and obsessed with content, and encouraged players to record their attempts to take him down.
The Host Season Brings More Free Content
The new season also includes a Special Assignment built around Finn Colton, featuring five challenges. Completing the new Like Mist challenge rewards players with the Vampire Magician Suit.
Three returning Elusive Targets are also making a comeback, giving players another opportunity to tackle previous assignments:
- The Pharmacist: Returns to Paris.
- The Warlord: Returns to Bangkok.
- The Entertainer: Returns to Marrakesh.
A new batch of Featured Contracts will provide further opportunities for players to test their assassination skills. There is also a Twitch Drop offering the Royal Purple Banana, while playing The Host with an IOI Account unlocks the Hijacker Duck.
Together, the returning targets and new assignments give players more reasons to revisit familiar locations while the latest mission takes centre stage.
The Host Pack Adds Permanent Access and New Gear
Alongside the free Elusive Target, IO Interactive is releasing The Host Pack, a paid DLC pack priced at $7.99 / €7.99 / £6.99. It launches on October 29 and adds permanent access to selected content inspired by the new mission.
The pack includes:
- Permanent access to The Collab, an Arcade contract featuring The Host Elusive Target.
- Permanent access to The Host Assignment, a Special Assignment featuring Jacksepticeye as Finn Colton.
- The Thought Leader Suit with Gloves.
- The Persona Suit.
- The Demon Dakota 12G.
- The DXTR PlayFactory Controller.
- The Creator Soundboard.
- The Kwineeny Collectible.
For players who want to revisit the content beyond the limited-time Elusive Target window, the pack provides another way to experience the new storyline and add themed items to their collection.
When Can You Play The Host?
The Jacksepticeye Elusive Target mission is available from October 29 to November 25, 2026, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR2, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, ROG Xbox Ally X, ROG Xbox Ally, PC, PC VR, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iPhone, iPad and Apple silicon Mac.
The mission is free in HITMAN World of Assassination and through the Free Demo, but players must have access to Hawke’s Bay. The Host Pack is a separate purchase for those who want permanent access to The Collab Arcade contract and The Host Assignment, along with its collection of themed gear.
With Jacksepticeye bringing a new personality to the series, a remote complex full of cameras to infiltrate and a target whose entire life revolves around content, The Host looks set to deliver another unusual assignment for Agent 47.
