Razer has teamed up with esports organisation Sentinels for a new limited-edition gaming keyboard, bringing the competitive-focused Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless 8KHz together with Sentinels’ instantly recognisable red-and-black branding.
The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless 8KHz Sentinels Edition is the second piece of gaming hardware to come from the partnership, giving SEN City another way to represent the organisation while playing on the same esports-focused platform used by competitive players.
Red and Black for SEN City
Visually, Razer hasn’t exactly been subtle with this one.
The keyboard features a red anodised aluminium top plate paired with black doubleshot PBT keycaps, matching Sentinels’ familiar red-and-black identity.
It’s essentially the Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless turned into a centrepiece for a Sentinels-themed gaming setup, while retaining the compact tenkeyless design that makes it particularly suited to competitive gaming.
For Sentinels fans, the keyboard is intended to be as much about representing the team as it is about the hardware itself. For everyone else, it’s still a rather serious competitive keyboard that happens to be dressed for SEN City.
8,000Hz Polling and Analog Optical Switches
Underneath the Sentinels makeover is the same competitive platform found in Razer’s flagship Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless.
The keyboard uses Razer Analog Optical Switches Gen-2 and supports True 8000Hz HyperPolling, designed to deliver extremely low input latency for players where every movement and keystroke can matter.
It also includes a collection of features aimed specifically at competitive play:
- True 8000Hz HyperPolling for highly responsive input.
- Rapid Trigger Mode for faster repeated key inputs.
- Razer Snap Flex for additional movement control.
- Razer Snap Tap for rapid directional input.
- Dual-Keypress Priority for controlling competing inputs.

For competitive FPS players, features such as Rapid Trigger and the various movement-focused controls are arguably more important than simply having an enormous polling-rate number printed on the box. The 8KHz capability is there, but it’s the overall combination of input control and switch technology that makes the keyboard interesting.
The Second Razer and Sentinels Collaboration
The new keyboard marks the second gear release from the Razer and Sentinels partnership, extending a relationship that combines Razer’s esports hardware with one of the most recognisable organisations in competitive gaming.
For Sentinels, the collaboration provides another way to connect with its community away from the tournament stage, while Razer gets to put its competitive hardware in front of an audience that is already heavily invested in esports.
In other words, it’s a fairly straightforward partnership, but one that makes sense for both sides.
Sentinels Meet-and-Greet Coming to RazerStore San Diego
Razer and Sentinels will also celebrate the launch with a special VALORANT team meet-and-greet at RazerStore San Diego on September 13 from 2 PM to 4 PM PST.
Fans attending the event will be able to watch 1v1 showmatches, take part in giveaways, claim exclusive rewards and meet Sentinels players in person.
IGC Take: A Proper Competitive Keyboard with a Sentinels Paint Job
There are two very different audiences for the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless 8KHz Sentinels Edition.
For the hardcore Sentinels fan, this is obviously going to be about putting some SEN branding on the desk and showing allegiance to the team. The red anodised aluminium and black keycaps certainly accomplish that without turning the keyboard into an enormous piece of esports merchandise.
For competitive players, however, the more interesting part is what’s underneath.
The Huntsman V3 Pro platform is already designed around competitive FPS gaming, and the combination of Analog Optical Switches Gen-2, Rapid Trigger, Snap Tap and 8000Hz HyperPolling makes this considerably more than a keyboard that simply happens to have a team logo on it.
Whether you’ll actually notice the difference between 8000Hz and lower polling rates during a frantic VALORANT match is another question entirely. Your opponent probably isn’t going to stand still long enough for you to admire your polling rate, after all.
But that’s also missing the point. The real appeal here is having a premium competitive keyboard wrapped in a genuinely good-looking Sentinels design. If you’re already part of SEN City, that’s a pretty easy combination to understand.
For everyone else, there’s always the standard Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless. But where’s the fun in that?
