Tick’s Tales: Up all Knight Review

In my youth I was a huge fan of adventure games. My parents always encouraged my enjoyment of them, providing me with classics such as The Secret of Monkey Island and Kings Quest. But alas, those fabulous franchises died slow,…

Grand Kingdom Review

There isn’t much more appealing to me that customisation. I’ll admit fully that I’m all about making characters and worlds my own; and usually purple to some degree. At the start of each Bethesda or Bioware adventure I usually spend…

Sword Coast Legends Review

Dungeons and Dragons; for some, the name conjures an image of impenetrable geekiness; something they don’t understand, and as such mock.  For others, like myself, it conjures up some of the fondest memories, built with fantastic people. Memories of sitting…

Total War: Warhammer Review

I’ve been a Warhammer lover for years. Admittedly, my love of Games Workshop’s flagship tabletop games started when I saw a friend playing Dawn of War at the local scout hut, but from the hundreds and hundreds of hours I…

Stella Glow Review

SRPG’s (Strategy Role-Playing Games) have been around for donkey’s years. Primarily a Japanese style, but often compared tactical RPG’S in the west, they have enjoyed wide success in both the east and west for years. Most modern variations combine visual…

Megadimension Neptunia VII Review

The Neptunia series has always intrigued me. A strange mix of manga story-telling and JRPG mechanics with a huge dollop of self-awareness, I always wanted to give it a go and see if this lesser-known anime contemplation of the games…

Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part 2 Review

I love Pillars of Eternity. A true modern CRPG masterpiece, it took the fundamentals of the infinity engine games and brought them into the 21st century and a whole new world. Coming from the developers of such experiences as KotOR2,…
