NVIDIA has launched the GeForce GTX 1660, which joins the previously announced GTX 1660 Ti as part of our new Turing GTX family. The GTX 1660 will be available on March 14th starting at £199.
Based on 12th generation Turing GPU architecture, the GTX 1600 takes advantage of all of Turing’s shader innovations to improve performance and efficiency, including support for Concurrent Floating Point and Integer Operations, a Unified Cache Architecture with larger L1 cache, and Adaptive Shading.
Great Gaming Performance
This new design allows the GeForce GTX 1660 to excel in modern games with complex shaders and is on average 30% faster than the GeForce GTX 1060 3GB and 15% faster than the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB at 1080p resolution.
The GeForce GTX 1660 features 1,408 CUDA cores, 6GB of GDDR5 memory for a combined memory bandwidth of 192GB/Sec and a boost clock of almost 1.8GHz, which can be easily overclocked for further performance.
An ideal upgrade
With more than two-thirds of current gamers still playing on GPUs that only have the performance, or lower, of a GTX 960-class GPU that came out in 2014, the GeForce GTX 1660 delivers, on average, a 110% increase on the GTX 960.

GeForce GTX 1660 custom boards are available starting today from the world’s leading add-in card providers, including ASUS, EVGA, Gainward, Gigabyte, Inno3D, KFA2, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac. Pricing starts at £199 and will vary based on partner designs, feature and region.
