If you had the chance to create your very own gaming character – what characteristics would you opt for? Well according to new research*, players would want bulletproof skin, thermal vision, and mechanical arms!
To find out which attributes and skills gamers want to see in the perfect war hero, Ebuyer polled players on their ultimate wish lists. Taking the findings further, they’ve also teamed up with a 3D designer to bring the character to life via visuals which can be found here.
So, what are players’ preferences?
The most sought-after physical attributes:
According to players, some of the top physical attributes are as follows:
- Eyes with night vision (48%) and thermal vision (33%)
- Skin that can camouflage (32%) and is bulletproof (34%)
- Perfect hearing (31%)
- Bones made of titanium (23%)
- Acid blood (11%)
Other top attributes included sharp shark teeth (11%) and poisonous blood (10%).
The preferred gear and accessories:
Looking at the type of gear and accessories players want their character to have, some of the top options include:
- Machine gun (51%)
- Grenades (33%)
- Armour (32%)
- Boots with jets (24%)
- Rocket launcher in the back implant (22%)
Arm implants with radars for enemies (17%) and GPS (16%) also scored highly.
Demographic preferences:
When asked about demographics, the top three responses are as follows:
- Male (33%)
- Genderless (30%)
- Female (26%)
